I want to express my gratitude to all the wee angels who helped me get 'Mana' safely to Wellington Bird Rescue Trust on the 31st of December 2024. Mana is a Karuhiruhi - pied shag - Phalacrocorax varius, who wasn't doing so well with a fishing hook deeply embedded in their neck. Found on Plimmerton beach in Porirua.
