Disco Mirror Ball Paintings

A disco ball or mirrorball is a large decorative ball covered with small reflective mirror facets, suspended from the ceiling of a disco or club and reflect flashing lights.

Disco balls are also called mirror balls because they are made up of hundreds of tiny mirrors that create beautiful rays and patterns of light. Often found back in the day at a discotheque.

To me disco balls represent fun, dancing, socialising, awesome banter and good times - shared with like minded folk.

Fun is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as "Light-hearted pleasure, enjoyment, or amusement; boisterous joviality or merrymaking; entertainment".

In my world, dancing is the epitome of fun, and the mirror ball is symbolic of that.

These Mirrorball world paintings will appeal to those who want to look at an artwork that makes them feel happy, and provide inspiration to break out yer fancy footwork. Afterall, every floor is specifically made for dancing on, including the office and smoko room.

All hail the mighty disco baw. (Baw is Scottish slang for ball.)
